Less than two hours’ drive brings you to the lively and upcoming vacation resort town of Jaco Beach. The resort is in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, with its gloriously soft white sand and caressingly comfortable waters of the sea. If the sea doesn’t attract you head towards the cosmopolitan shopping centre which is within walking distance of your Jaco Beach hotel.

There is a games’ room and play areas if you have children with you, as well as an excellent swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers to just sit around the pool and soak up the sun. If you do decide you are peckish during the day, take a quick trip to El Almendao Snack Bar for a lunch-time snack or, if you are at the nearby beach, El Muelle Beachfront Bar will provide you with all you need.

Your hotel is actually at an excellent location. Apart from it being practically on the shoreline itself, it is close to an excellent shopping mall, with Pizza Hut directly opposite the Jaco Beach hotel for those guests who can’t live without a pizza. Of course, if you fancy a walk, the Rioasis Pizza Parlor is just 1 kilometre away.

That’s not too far to walk with the balmy evening temperature gently caressing your skin. Of course, there are far more up-market eateries, besides pizzas. With the Pacific Ocean being so much a part of Jaco Beach town, seafood is definitely the most popular choice on the menu, with a number of designated seafood restaurants offering excellent choices of seafood cuisine.

You could, of course, always eat at the restaurant on-site at your hotel where the food is comparable to nothing you will find elsewhere. When staying at the jaco hotel, you can do as much or as little as you want to do. There are plenty of tours and adventure activities you can book from the Reception desk at the hotel.

Tours and activities have been designed for people of all abilities and skill levels so there is no reason to be left out of the activities on offer. Enjoy your stay at your Jaco Beach hotel and get involved in something you might never get the opportunity of doing when at home: you will never regret it.

Our Honeymoon in Costa Rica – Our Time At Last

August 27th, 2010 by admin No comments »

My husband and I did not get a chance to go away on a honeymoon when we got married since we both had young children from a previous relationship. Once night many years later my husband took me out to dinner and surprised me with mission honeymoon Costa Rica.

He said that since the kids were older we could actually go away for a much deserved vacation and for the honeymoon that we never had. I could not wait to get on the plane and take off.

We were there for eight days on the romantic safari package and I could not believe how great it was. On our first day of honeymoon Costa Rica we enjoyed the Jacuzzi as well as the sauna and spa.

There was so much to do while we were there but they made it so easy to make decisions. We could not pass up the river rafting since we both loved white water rapids and then we had the boat tour on the canals. The atmosphere was amazing with the other couples.

During our trip I had the chance to see wildlife that I had only seen on television. We even had our own private shower that was outdoors. That was honeymoon Costa Rica romantic for us since we had never done anything like that before. It was nice to try different things for our special trip.

On part of the trip, we were able to see a volcano and even had a stone fireplace that we could snuggle up to and just relax. Honeymoon Costa Rica was found on the internet. At the end of the tour, we were back where we started and had the chance to get ready to leave. I must admit, I missed home but I was not ready to leave.

However, whichever of the hotels in Jaco Beach you are staying in, be advised to take a taxi to the Beatle Bar and arrange to have one take you home again: the Beatle Bar is not situated in the most salubrious part of town!

Arenal Hotels Costa Rica – A Tasty Retreat

August 26th, 2010 by admin No comments »

In looking for a place to go on vacation with the kids I really needed to find something that they would like and that I could be happy with as well. My daughters are kind of picky and always afraid they are going to be bored on a family vacation as usual.

I booked our stay at the Nayara Arenal Costa Rica Hotel without telling them where we were going. I just said pack a bathing suit and some summer clothes as well as dinner attire.

When we got off of the plane my daughters could not stop hugging me. After arriving at the hotel and they found out about all of the wonderful things they could do they started hugging me again.

Immediately they started planning horseback riding, windsurfing, whitewater rafting and a trip to the hot springs. They said that the Arenal Costa Rica Hotel Nayara was the best vacation that I had ever planned. I of course had the opportunity to go to the Winery and taste some of the finest wine around.

Our whole trip was filled with fun and laughter. It was so great seeing my girls smile and having the opportunity to spend some time with them. Their schedules do not usually allow for us to have family time very often.

Even though there were weddings going on and honeymoon couples around us, the Nayara Arenal Costa Rica Hotel turned out to be the best idea I had ever had. My girls kept asking me if we could go back again for another vacation because they had such a great time. They got to do things they wanted and I got to enjoy the hot springs. We all went to the spa together for some quality Mother and Daughter time and I could not have been happier.
